Although the journey this institute was started little earlier but the formal journey was started on the date of obtaining its legal status and till then the Trust is actively engaged in providing supports in the form of welfare and development services for the upliftment of these poor and needy persons including establishing a children home to support nineteen (19) poor and destitute children to enabled to live in the society with dignity and respect. The Foundation is presently organizing its activities based of the collection of donations both in cash and kinds for cooking and distributing foods to destitute persons as well as receiving some specialized support from both institutions and individual like: Border Security Force (BSF), Tripura State Rifles (TSR), State Bank of India (SBI), School of Science (SoS) and Agartala Nursing Home (ANH) are supporting on regular basis. Similarly, more than fifty (50) individuals are also extending their financial assistance to it, as and when required. Since, the Trustees have decided to promote this Foundation as food bank, it has also started focusing on establishing it as a specialized institution for these kinds of activities and has started organizing its initiatives to obtained exemptions from the department of the income tax as well as also obtain necessary registrations from both central and state governments. It has completed the audits of its accounts for the first and formal year of existence and thereby applied and obtained exemptions of both 12A, 80G from the Income Tax Department and has also applied and got registered with NGO Darpan of Niti Ayoug.
